How To Take Advantage Of Free Bet Clubs
Bookmakers giving away free bets every week?
Sounds too good to be true but it doesn’t have to be.
With this guide, we’re going to teach you how to take advantage of these free bet club offers and withdraw cold, hard cash!
What Are Free Bet Clubs?
Free bet clubs, put simply, are regular free bet offers that bookmakers give punters to entice them to bet.
The opposite to some other clubs, bookmakers can’t talk enough about their free bet club.
They are sometimes packaged under slightly different names by bookmakers looking to catch your attention. However, for the basis of this guide, we’re going to include any offer that, at the time of writing, run weekly and are available to both new and existing customers.
The bookies are hoping that the average punter logs in and puts more money in than they take out. To make this happen they often place stipulations on the free bets in to make it more difficult.
You knew it wasn’t going to be that easy, right?
Fortunately, we’re not ‘average’ punters here and it can be incredibly easy to beat the bookies. In this article, we’re going to show you all the best betting sites with free bets and the matched betting system we use to extract profit.
How to Profit From Free Bet Clubs
Let’s dive straight in and take a look at some free bet clubs…
If you haven’t already you will need to sign up to all the following bookmakers. Most also require you to opt into the free bet club in order to receive the offers. Make sure you’re in before betting.
Paddy Power Rewards Club
Bet 5 x £10 to win £10 in free bets.
Rules
- Bets must be placed during one week to qualify – between Monday and Sunday
- Must place 5 bets of £10 during the week to be credited with £10 in free bets on the Monday after
- Odds of 1.5 or higher
Strategy
Open Paddy Power and a betting exchange like Betfair Exchange.
We are looking for a sport bet where the back odds and the lay odds are similar. We need to wager £10 five times on different bets.
In this example, Forest Green Rovers are priced at 1.57 to win. We will go to the Exchange to see if we can place a similar lay bet.
We can see that the lay price is currently at 1.6. This is our second bet.
It can sometimes be a struggle to find closely matched odds. It may get easier as the event gets closer to the start time. You should be trying to place both bets one after another to minimise the chance of the odds moving.
Tip – We want to keep odds close to maximise the profits at the later stages.
Using a matched betting calculator we enter all the information and it tells us to place a lay bet of £11.13.
Place a £10 bet at Paddy Power for Forest Green Rovers to win at 1.57.
Place an £11.13 lay bet at Betfair Exchange on Forest Green Rovers at 1.6.
This means we have now covered every outcome for this event. Our qualifying loss is 38p.
For this particular free bet offer, we have to do this five times. If our qualifying loss is the same each time, our total qualifying investment will be £1.90. Once we’re done with the qualifying bets, will get our free bet.
Having been credited with the free £10 bet we can go back to Paddy Power and Betfair Exchange.
Tip – An odds range from 4.5 to 8.0 is best for this stage. Too low and we won’t maximise the free bet. Too high and the liability will be too much in the exchange and we’ll stick out like a sore thumb.
There is a horse, Silca Mistress, with the odds of 4.5 on Paddy Power. This will be our free £10 bet.
Checking Betfair Exchange we can see the same horse is available to lay for 4.7.
Using the calculator we make our lay bet of £7.53. Important – make sure the calculator is on the SNR setting. This is the setting for free bets – meaning ‘stake not returned’.
There it is!
Whatever the outcome of the race we will now be making £7.15. Even with the qualifying losses, we stand to make over £5 in profit.
Now, this doesn’t sound like a lot but bear in mind this is a weekly offer. If you did this every week by the end of the year you would be taking home at least £260!
The best part is there is a load more free bet clubs that bookies are dying for you to join.
Having completed one free bet offer you can use the same process to really take advantage of these offers.
See how this is starting to add up?
Let’s take a look at the other betting sites with free bets.
Sky Bet Club
Bet £25 and get a £5 free bet.
Rules
- Opt-in
- Odds for bets must be 2.0 or greater
- £25 total bets (can be split up) must be placed between Monday and Sunday
- Place on any sport
Strategy
Place one bet on Sky Bet for £25. Then try to lay the same selection on a betting exchange for the same odds or as close as possible
Use the Calculator to work out the lay stake and the potential returns.
Try to keep the qualifying loss to less than £1.50 or as close as you can.
With the free bet now triggered the following week we can go back to Sky Bet.
Again, we look for odds of 4.50 to 8.00.
Place the £5 free bet and look to lay it off in the exchange.
Use the calculator on the SNR setting as before.
You should be getting £3 plus if the odds of your bets are closely matched.
This equals an overall profit in the region of £2.50. Done weekly for a year this will net you a profit of at least £130.
Betway
Bet £25 on a treble and receive two free £5 bets.
Rules
- Opt-in
- Bet on a multiple (accumulator) with 3 or more selections
- Must be odds of 3.0 or greater
- Bets must be settled between Saturday 00:00 BST and the following Friday 23:59 BST to count towards the promotion for that particular week
- Qualifying customers will be awarded the Free Bets in two instalments
Strategy
Open Betfair Exchange and in the search bar type ‘acca’ and press enter. This should show the available accumulators. As long as there are a minimum of three selections in the acca we should be good to go.
Open Betway and make the same selections, the accumulators are usually on football. So we go to the football market and back all the same teams.
We need the odds of the Betway acca to be as similar to the lay odds of the Exchange acca as possible.
If they are then we place the bets.
The qualifying loss should be no more than £2.50. Ideally less.
With the free bets, it is the same method again.
Find two bets at Betway and an exchange where the odds are between 4.5 and 8.0
Use the calculator to view the lay odds.
From the two bets, you should be making anywhere from £4 to £8!
Coral Bet and Get Club
Bet £25 and receive £5 free bet.
Rules
- Opt-in
- Bet £25 between Monday and Saturday to qualify
- Bets must be placed on selections with odds of 1.5 or greater
- Any sports bets
- £5 free bet available from Sunday
Strategy
Place one bet on Coral for £25. Then try to lay the same selection on a betting exchange for the same odds or as close as possible
Try to keep the qualifying loss to less than £1.50 or as close as you can.
With the free bet now triggered the following week we can go back to Coral.
We look for odds of 4.00 to 10.00.
Place the £5 free bet and look to lay it off in the exchange.
You should be getting £3 plus if the odds of your bets are closely matched.
This equals an overall profit in the region of £2.50.
MoPlay – Club ProMo
Bet £25 and receive a £5 free bet.
Rules
- Opt-in
- Bet between Monday and 23:59 on Sunday to qualify for a £5 Free Bet, credited the following Monday and can be used on any sport
- Odds must be 1.8 or greater
Strategy
Place one bet on MoPlay for £25. Then try to lay the same selection on a betting exchange for the same odds or as close as possible
Use the calculator to work out the lay stake and the potential returns.
Try to keep the qualifying loss to less than £1.50 or as close as you can.
With the free bet now triggered the following week we can go back to MoPlay.
Again, we look for odds of 4.00 to 10.00.
Place the £5 free bet and look to lay it off in the exchange.
You should be getting £3 plus if the odds of your bets are closely matched.
This equals an overall profit in the region of £2.50.
The Results
There we have it – five free bet offers that you can take advantage of.
It may seem like a lengthy process but it will soon become second nature. It shouldn’t take you more than two hours or so a week once you get the hang of it.
If done successfully you could be earning between £18 and £30 weekly.
Over the course of a year that’s £1000!

Hi Luke, thanks so much for the tips – I’m beginning to do very nicely! Just one question please – for the Betway Acca, I’m a little puzzled because if I select the same acca on Betfair, aren’t I just duplicating the same bet (ie just backing the same three outcomes twice?) How do I physically bet against the three Accas please and how do I calculate the stake to lay against each? Is there a specific calculator I can use? Sorry if I’ve misunderstood anything you’ve already explained! Regards, Si
Hi Simon, you can lay some accas on Betfair Exchange :)
Hi Luke,
Sorry – I know I wasn’t clear in my original message but I was trying to follow your guide to Free Bonus clubs and was looking at the Betway article. I haven’t yet done multiples and when I type ‘acca’ into Betfair it shows no search results. Betfair then tells me I can only bet on multiples in Sportsbook, which as far as I can tell, means I can’t lay bets against Betway’s acca? That’s the bit that’s puzzling me, but I’m sure I must be doing something wrong here?! Any advice you’ve got on this would be appreciated as currently it just seems like it’d be duplicating three back bets!
Kind regards,
Si Hollingsworth.
Maybe it’s the day/time you’re searching on Betfair? It’s hard for me to say, but I just searched on there and I see 2 accas for tonight’s Champions League matches. I search ‘acca’ and it brings back a market for ‘Footbal Tuesday Acca 01 October’. Here’s the link to the market (if you manage to see this before the games kick off!): https://www.betfair.com/exchange/plus/football/market/1.163125767
Thanks Luke, you were right – I’d been logging on in the evenings after work, so it made sense the accas were all done! Can I ask another please? I’ve got a £25 free bet but I can only use it if I match £25 of my own in the same bet. So obviously this is different to the simple calculations I have been able to do. How do I calculate this because I’m not sure how to place my stake on Betfair now to guarantee a healthy profit?! Thanks!
Glad we got that sorted!
I don’t fully understand what you mean with your bet but I’ll give it a go at answering in the hope that I’ve grasped your question correctly…
Am I right in thinking you need to place a £50 bet, of which £25 will be your own funds? If so, just calculate it at £25 on Normal and £25 as Free Bet (SNR), either lay in two separate bets or add the two calculations together for your lay stake.
Brilliant, thanks Luke! Yes, that is exactly what I meant and your reply makes total sense. I’ll crack on in that case!
Have a great day,
Si.
