Betfair Scalping Course: Caan Berry’s Module 11 Review
Betfair scalping is one of the most popular forms of trading in the sports markets.
The ability to take 1-5 ticks profit, repeatedly, over a period of time is not only rewarding financially, but mentally too.
The feeling of taking advantage of the market time and time again – a market that is heavily influenced by punters, bots and news – is a great one.
But this is not for feint-hearted.
It is thought that only 5-8% of people make it as profitable traders over the long-term.
Betfair trading as a beginner can be tough.
But with the right mindset and tools, you can become one of the winners.
One of the most underrated tools that you will need in your arsenal is something that you have already…your brain.
Everyone has one – some better than others.
But if you want to make it as a successful Betfair scalper, you’re going to need to use that brain of yours and put the work in to learn and improve.
In this post, we review Betfair Scalping: Module 11 from Caan Berry’s Advanced Video Pack.
For those of you that are already aware of the Advanced Video Pack (or our review of it), it is a huge resource comprising of over 20 modules, all of which contain subsections which total to around 100 individual lessons.
However, the video pack is quite an expensive investment.
We believe it’s worth the cost, but we know a lot of you don’t want to fork out three-figures up front.
The Betfair scalping module is one of the biggest and most popular sections in the course, so Caan Berry released it as a standalone product for a significantly reduced price (less than £10!).
Let’s take a look at what’s included & make a judgement on whether it’s worth the price or not.
What’s Included?
The Betfair scalping module – available for the lowest price here – costs under £10.
Included is a handy ‘checklist’, which in our opinion isn’t so much of a checklist but more of a ‘points to remember’, that you can utilise whilst you’re attempting to scalp the horse racing markets for profit.
Also included is ten separate scalping tutorial videos, each covering different aspects that you’ll need to consider for every race and every opportunity.
As well as tutorials, Caan Berry also shows examples of his live trades so you can try to learn from the pro by following his moves.
Caan runs a popular YouTube channel with hints and tips on, but none of these lessons can be found on there.
All of the lessons are exclusive to the scalping course (and of course the Advanced Video Pack too) and intentionally aim to include a much higher standard of education than can be found in free videos. After all, why would you give away your best information for free?
Each lesson lasts for between 3 and 14 minutes, and the breakdown is as follows:

- Scalping introduction
- Conditions to scalp
- Good versus bad situations
- Scalping (with pauses)
- Slow explanation and execution
- Scratching trades
- Liquidity
- Money flow
- Scalping handicaps
- Feature races & delayed coverage
The majority of lessons (checklist & introduction excluded) come with notes for what to expect from each section, along with audio transcriptions.
Our Review
The scalping module was one of our favourite sections when we reviewed the full video pack, so it was interesting to see how it would hold up as an individual series in its own right.
Like all aspects of trading, it is a course that will need to be watched and rewatched (and maybe rewatched again!) whilst practising the knowledge picked up as you go.
There is no ‘magic formula’ when it comes to the Betfair markets, you need to put the work in to make it work for you. If you’re looking for a simple equation that will give you more financial freedom, you won’t find it here.
What you will find is a guide that is definitely capable of improving your knowledge and ability when it comes to scalping.
The combination of advice and live demonstrations really helps any trader from a beginner to intermediate level.
If you’re already an expert, you probably won’t (and don’t need to) pick up much from this course.
No product is perfect, and rarely do we publish a review without highlighting the negatives. This is no different.
We feel that the course could perhaps benefit from being slightly more padded out; seeing even more footage of Caan trading and talking through his decisions would further help to reinforce information and ideas.
The information is there and you see it demonstrated, but sometimes it takes multiple demonstrations to really hit home. This is why we recommend rewatching the course at least once.

All of the lessons & course material can be viewed on all devices; computers, tablets & mobiles.
None of the lessons can be downloaded or watched outside of the website, in order to prevent piracy.
Conclusion & Rating
We awarded the scalping module a rating of 3.5 out of 5.
In terms of the knowledge and experience that you can pick up from the course, it is definitely valuable in our opinion.
However, a couple of points were deducted from the rating because we’d just liked to have seen a little more content in places, and more examples too. If you’re familiar with Beating Betting then you’ll know we are strict on our ratings!
This product is a little lightweight, but a lot of that does come down to the nature of how niche the topic is.
We did rate the Advanced Video Pack a full 5-stars (you can view that product here) and for scalping knowledge, perhaps we have been harsh in this review, but we will stick by our guns on this one.
